The purchase of what is now known as Grant Township’s Hunter’s Point Park was made possible by the support of the thousands of individuals, families and businesses who have visited Copper Harbor and Hunter’s Point and wanted public access to Hunter’s Point preserved for future generations.
Our land acquisition goals have been reached and we are now entering a preservation, development and maintenance phase. Boardwalks will be constructed over wet areas, the Copper Harbor mountain bike trail system will be extended over Brockway Mountain and existing trails will be brushed and trimmed.
Many of our supporters still want to continue to contribute to the preservation and upkeep of Hunter’s Point. Others may wish to make memorial contributions and have an individuals name listed on our Memorial Web Page. We will continue to accept donations to Hunter’s Point. All donations will be dedicated to Hunter’s Point Land Stewardship programs and all donations are tax deductible.
As in the past, your support was key to the success of our projects and your continued assistance is sincerely appreciated. Thank you for your continued support.
