To the many supporters of Grant Township's Hunter's Point Project.

I am pleased to announce that we have received permission from the Michign Natural Resources Trust Fund to begin the process for the purchace of Hunter's Point. We have begun the appraisal process that should be completed by mid June. We expect the initial submisisons to be made to the Michigna Natural Resurces Trust Fund by the end of June.

To date we have raised over $203,000 in contributions towards the matching funds needed by Grant Township as their portion of the money needed for the purchase. This has exceeded our goal by over $8,000. Any donated funds remaining after the purchase of Hunter's Point is completed will be used for the maintenance of the property.

Your generous donations to Grant Township's Hunter's Point Project are greatly appreciated by the Grant Township Board, the Hunter's Point Committee, and the residents of Copper Harbor. With your help we have made the beauty of Hunter's Point available to our future generations.
